Thanks from Drum Bingo

Drum Easter Bingo on Good Friday 2008 was one of our most successful nights in recent times and we wish to sincerely thank all those who continue to support us. Don't forget we have up to €2000 of prizes to be won every Friday night. Doors open 8pm, bingo starts 8.30pm. More details here

Call for Volunteers

At the recent 20th anniversary celebrations in Drum Community Centre, Chairperson Liam Doyle told of the need for new people to become involved in the centre. While many of those present had been involved in the centre over the years, he asked them to tell any neighbours and friends whom they think may be interested if they would give two or three hours a week, particularly to help out at Drum Bingo on Friday nights. Mr. Doyle told of the lack of motivation they suffer from time to time, but added that 'one new person can really make the difference - it encourages the rest of us to get up and going again.' Anybody who is interested can call in to the centre during bingo and have a chat and see what's involved.

20th Anniversary

Many thanks to those who joined us on March 17th as we celebrated 20 years of Drum Community Centre. Following Mass at 11am in St. Brigid’s Church, Drum we welcomed neighbours and friends back to the centre for light refreshments. Thanks to all involved.

New Secretary

In January 2008, Aidan McEvilly took over as Secretary of the company. More details here

RTÉ visit Drum

In November 2007 RTÉ's regional and community affairs programme, Pobal, visited Drum to look at activities for older people in the area. There are photos taken during the recording at bingo available on our Bebo page. Watch the programme by visiting the RTÉ Pobal site here

Drum Badminton Club

Every Tuesday night from 9pm in Drum Community Centre. New members & players welcome to join.

Drum Bingo

Up to €2000 of prizes to be won every Friday night. Doors open 8pm, bingo starts 8.30pm. More details here

Drum I.C.A.

Monthly meeting in Drum Community Centre on the first Tuesday of each month at 8.3opm. Next Meeting Tuesday 1st April. All memebers please attend. For further details please contact Guild President Margeret T. Fallon at 0906437170.
